A place for for news, discussion, memes, and links criticizing capitalism and advancing viewpoints that challenge liberal capitalist ideology. That means any support for any liberal capitalist political party (like the Democrats) is strictly prohibited.

6 Be civil in comments and no accusations of being a bot, 'paid by Putin,' Tankie, etc. This includes instance shaming.

Voters arent voting for leftists candidates nation wide. That’s a fact, it isn’t “punching left”.
For some reason leftists are more interested in attacking the Democratic Party that gives them a platform than winning over voters.
For some reason, liberals both want leftist votes and don't want to cater to leftist voters. Pick a lane, either liberals need the left or not.
Anyway, it sure seems like liberals hate the right, but clearly not enough to compromise with the left over compromising with the right.

Yeah, y'know when you've tried to fix your car like 30 times, and you're staring down another $2k repair on a car worth half that... at some point I would start throwing duct tape on the thing and scrap it when I can hopefully get a better car. You want me to pretend it's the only car in the world worth keeping, but I'm telling you it's scrap metal.
The car mechanic you are advocating for is corrupt as fuck. Does bandaid quality work then breaks something else so you have to come back for future repairs.
I love that even two leftists together can't come up with the idea of fixing the car themselves. Maybe bc on a subconscious level they know they're not capable 😂

If leftists are the smallest voting demographic then why don’t they try to appeal to centrists like democrats do?
It seems like leftists do this to lose on purpose so they can just keep complaining without changing anything.

Yep, and leftists are the smallest with the least amount of voting power.
If they want to get leftist legislation passed without compromise they have to win over voters until they have enough numbers. Until they do that they have two options:
Attacking the democrats that give leftist a platform is a bad look and one of the many reason leftists are such a small unpopular demographic.
So how does a demographic get together to make decisions in order to win over voters? They're presented with two options, and have to choose, what should the deliberation process and decision making look like for a demographic? Is it different for the age 18-25, black, academic, leftist demographic?

I was actually trying to build to a larger point about you confusing base and superstructure but that probably won't make much sense to you because I'm gonna guess you haven't read much about political theory but whatever you got your cute clapback
