A decent pirate community already exists on lemmy at /c/piracy.
You can subscribe from most instances
I see lemmy.world does not allow it
And that's why I left .world
That's wild. I switched to piefed.world and was unaware
There was brouhaha when they first blocked it (I think they originally defederated from db0) and the reason given was .world had received a takedown notice from a rights holder because of a thread where someone was actually sharing some sort of copyright material. They felt like they were attracting attention as one of the largest instances, even though they weren’t the source.
None of that is true. They were never defederated, nor did they receive a takedown (that I know of). They simply blocked the community out of an abundance of caution because they felt an image with a URL to the TLD of a pirate site is too risky.
I’m misremembering, then; I trust your version over mine!
How do I make it part of my lemmy.world account??
Your sister hates anything that is not on lemmy.world.
But if you click !piracy@lemmy.dbzer0.com and subscribe you will be able to see the content there.

Then I would suggest opening your own account not on lemmy.world.
