There's a major philosophical or ideological statement lurking there, is it not?

One of the things that kinda blew me away about Schulz is how he had the lightest (yet quite effective) touch upon introducing such matters. Meanwhile, his contemporary Walt Kelly usually took a massively more pointed approach.

Holy hell, what great cartoonists they both were...
