Downvoting specifically because you deprive artists of the credit for their creation.

Without them, you would have nothing.

Do you know who's the artist?

[-] tanisnikana@lemmy.world 49 points 1 week ago

Sadly, no. That’s solely @beep@lemmus.org’s fault. Had they not cropped the attribution, I could tell you where to find more works from this artist, or who they are.

So, I used reverse image search to look it up - OP is not at fault for cutting off the image. The OC was made like that, and posted to Reddit, as far as I can tell

Seems like it still would have been trivial to include the creator's username in a comment or something. Given OP's extensive history of posting images with the creator's watermark cropped out (for which they've been called out numerous times), I don't think we need to give them the benefit of the doubt here.

Imo, it is the responsibility of the person sharing something to ALWAYS credit thr artist, whether the credit is integrated or otherwise.
AND there should be consequences for not doing so.

Would you consider removing your comment as there is sufficient doubt following a fellow Leemy-er undertaking a reverse image search? Likely that this was picked up from a similar unattributed Reddit post.

Nope, cause he does that on every single one, he just got away with it just this once. He’s still a jabroni in principle.

They do it in every comic, breaking community rules and even using AI to remove them, changing comics in the process. It's incredibly rude.
