igniter for gas burner

Has anyone added an electric igniter to their gas burner, to start or restart by button press their burner? Bolt it to the side, so the igniter is just under where the flame is, and the button is on the leg of the burner. Is there a better solution? It would be nice if there was something (not complicated) that would auto restart if the flame went out. I'm just trying to figure out a good option and open to suggestions.
There is some automatic gas stopper for gas fridges. But it is something opposite of your needs.
