Under Biden they could have used the "nuclear option" (scary talk for majority vote) to prepare for Trump with massive amounts of long-awaited legislation. The New New Deal. That was their chance.

They choked. Again

It's actually even more pathetic than that. The Supreme Court ruling which stated that presidents have absolute immunity for acts taken in their capacity as president came in June / July 2024 - during the Biden Administration, not Trump's.

Sotomayor said, “A hypothetical President who admits to having ordered the assassinations of his political rivals or critics . . . has a fair shot at getting immunity under the majority’s new Presidential accountability model.”

The Supreme Court came right out and said that presidents can assassinate their rivals with no consequences. Democrats didn't even use that blanket immunity to pursue ruthless investigative tactics that might otherwise be illegal, or to imprison this apparent "existential threat to democracy", and they certainly did not order him to be assassinated (or did they? jk sorry I love that joke).

They're all members of the Epstein Class and anyone who believes otherwise is brainwashed.

You're changing the subject. That's not stopping the closure of USAID. Please explain how that would stop the closure of USAID under Trump. That is a different issue that I agree should have been done, but that isn't what I was talking about and you know that.

Like, it is weird that you're blaming the Democrats under Biden for Trump's actions. You realize that is, well, dumb. "Why didn't they guardrail against Trump doing that?" And not "Why did Trump do that?" Do you realize how silly that argument is?

The subject was "They'll come demanding our votes any day now" with an accompanying meme closing with "both parties should burn".

Don't change the subject. It's weird that you are changing the subject. You do realize that you caterwauling about someone changing the subject while you yourself changed the subject is dumb, don't you? No, of course not.

All the while pretending that Biden's hands were tied while in office with a majority in both houses.

He couldn't even pass a minimum wage increase. He was absolute shit. Accept reality as we know it, not how you wish it was.
