most Americans did not, in fact, vote for this. most Americans do not, in fact, actively support this.
33% directly voted for him, and another 33% didn't vote at all. That's 66% of the country that either directly supports this, or doesn't think it's an issue at all. Only 33% of Americans are not okay with Trump (in varying degrees).
