Is the poetry the freedom t-shirt? I don’t get it necessarily. Fuck Kirk though
there is at the very least poetry in a man advocating for policies that lead to gun violence dying from gun violence.
Bro was in the middle of dogwhistling about gun violence as he was shot, it couldn't be more poetic just not in visual form
yeah, exactly - but yeah, I don't know if the visual irony is just that his shirt says "freedom" and is covered in blood - maybe the price of his precious freedom was his death, etc.
Yeah. I get that. Especially his last words. But I’m wondering if this is a reference to his shirt? Or just the whole situation.
probably the shirt is a synecdoche for the whole situation?
He is free from the shackles of being a conservative grifter. Free from the shackles of having to maintain that front.

in some ways, his martyrdom is the best possible outcome for his movement - esp. since in the end it looks like he was killed by someone radicalized in association with trans rights
