If it does not feel like an objective truth to you, you are probably in need of therapy.
If you consider this an ad hominem, you are definitely in need of therapy. This is not about calling you a bad person, but about you lacking the empathy to understand other people have the same right to live a free and happy life as you do. Because that's what the categorical imperative is about. Treat others the way you would expect them to treat you.
