I know it's wildly put of the realm of possibility, but just imagine...

[-] Mika@piefed.ca 22 points 3 days ago

I mean in the era of 3d-printed fpv drones, it's strange to me that he still lives.

The most powerful person in the world... With FBI, CIA, NSA, ICE, Police, and Secret Service protection before and after every public appearance... You're surprised that person is safe!?

[-] Mika@piefed.ca 1 points 1 day ago

Well, yes? Cause it's not like any of them can do anything to fpv on optic fiber. You can't jam it, you can only hit it mid-air and it's very unlikely. You don't even need to be very close physically, about 5km radius ez, you don't even need to be near at all when the assassination happens - place it on some roof beforehand and remote-control. It's not like he doesnt show in public at all.

Making one is just a question of skill and dedication. There are 1/3 trillion Americans. My conclusion: there aren't lot of you truly dedicated to the cause of removing him.

Not even out of the realm of possibility. He disintegrated khamenei and kidnapped maduro. Who’s stopping any country from doing that to him?

[-] CannonFodder@lemmy.world 20 points 3 days ago

Can we crowd fund an assassin?

[-] BestBouclettes@jlai.lu 7 points 2 days ago

Nuclear capacity and the largest armies the world has ever seen would be my guess

[-] shane@feddit.nl 7 points 2 days ago

So Iran is perfectly rational in trying to build nuclear weapons.

[-] BestBouclettes@jlai.lu 5 points 2 days ago

I don't support nuclear proliferation, but I definitely understand why some countries pursue nuclear weapons

[-] samus12345@sh.itjust.works 3 points 2 days ago

It's a requirement to protect yourself from the evil warmongers like the US, Israel, Russia, and China. They wouldn't have dared to do this if Iran had nukes.

[-] BeardededSquidward 3 points 2 days ago

Like with the proliferation of firearms among the left increasing. We don't know if it'll have an effect, but it's a situation I'd rather not be found wanting.
