I'll still use it. The title is just a joke about being called out by a boykisser meme

No clue what your issue is, but if your standard for OSS is not being associated with furries, I've got bad news for you.

Nah I'm fine with furries. Except the boykisser one (as a joke)

Updated the post with the explanation. The joke didn't land

So you're OK with furries as long as they're not doing gay shit? 🤨

This is a good Christian household! The bible said no to boy kissing. But it said nothing bad about dressing up as a fox and fucking your partner who’s dressed as a cow.

As long as they're dressed like a girl cow.

Isn't a boy cow just a bull?

[-] RustyNova@lemmy.world 2 points 14 hours ago

Nah it's not furries. It is just the boykisser meme that is often made to call out a person that may or may not be in the closet and mock them. It mostly conveys itself as rage bait / just being annoying.

So if the krita mascot starts saying stuff like that, that's a valid reason to not continue using the software.

I do like the boykisser meme, but I'm just playing into the joke

I wasn't sure if it was a joke and I read another comment here that seemed to indicate that it was not. Thanks for clearing that up, unfortunately sarcasm is easily lost across the internet.

Furries keep the internet running.

1. Follow the site-wide rules

2. Be civil
  • Understand the difference between a joke and an insult.
  • Do not harrass or attack users for any reason. This includes using blanket terms, like "every user of thing".
  • Don't get baited into back-and-forth insults. We are not animals.
  • Leave remarks of "peasantry" to the PCMR community. If you dislike an OS/service/application, attack the thing you dislike, not the individuals who use it. Some people may not have a choice.
  • Bigotry will not be tolerated.
  • 3. Post Linux-related content
  • Including Unix and BSD.
