For those who don't know, we recently created a Discord server:

The question is whether there is an alternative that has stood as a strong contender? Also, is it worth switching now that Discord has reversed its position?

Fluxer is standing out with their terms and privacy policy. No data scraping and you retain ownership of your content. I have yet to fully try it out. Stoat if you want text only on desktop. Ditch discord now, they have been abusing user data and privacy for far too long. You can go to https://alternativeto.net/ and do more in depth research into alternatives.
