I think letting everyone have guns is an absolutely crazy idea. But if I was living in the US I'd definitely be stocking up on guns and ammo and taking shooting lessons right now.
The US has a long history of denying rights to oppressed groups and minorities. Many control measures on firearms will be used to target these groups and ensure only the preferred groups have access to firearms
Abso-fucking-lutely. I am of the thinking that Trump's regime would quickly alter course if say (and I'm not suggesting anyone do this), there was a sustained and we'll organised campaign of 'Kirking' billionaires.

When my bonus drops next month I'll be buying my first rifle, and I'm going to get the biggest, and scariest-looking one that I can for the sole purpose of being able to stand at the front of protests and be a visual deterrent. Mutually-assured destruction is the only thing that stops bullies.
A bit of advice, look into getting a plate carrier (plus plates), an IFAK (Individual First Aid Kit), and training to go along with it if you're going to protests
Make sure you train a whole bunch before taking it anywhere. If something happens you want to be able to have confidence that you can react the right way quickly.
