I kinda like the implication of html being a programming language. Cause if it is, then svg would be as well.

TBF, people have been programming with XML and JSON, YAML and so forth for a while. From XSLT to Ansible.

I mean I'm stirring shit because the former is actually useful but java and JavaScript are both shit so they're not wrong.

My main job is supporting ServiceNow. I understand JavaScript now far more than I should. It's a garbage "language".

I support a Java program and the majority of people call it javascript. Not confusing at all that a built in "language" for it is called thinkScript lmao
