Even if he understood (I doubt he does but perhaps) he wouldn't even care cause NATO doesn't give him tribute to helping the world keep peace.

I sort of thought during his first term the people who elect the country with the world's most powerful alliance shouldn't be just by their own country or at least be due to revue by the alliance's participants. As much as it sucks for sovereignty we are in a different place these days, hell perhaps we weren't aligned enough before.

Yes I know that goes against a country's democracy but perhaps times have changed for alliance requirements. The US made themselves dependable and that should with stipulations to be a part of an alliance.
