I said this was generated. You decided to take it personally. I didnt say you knew, or you had bad intentions. I said it was ironic the post appeared to be generated. That is all. If you want to get all up and arms about it, claim you made the comic, but I cant find the artist anywhere, and then you want to be snarky, thats on you. Its not my fault.you post as cm002, show up as RalphNader, and post 400 articles a day. Maybe if you find accusations of AI to be annoying you should ask why it is people are thinking that.

I'm not cm002. He has been around long before me and he has 9,000 accounts.
I posted it to my own community at !cartoons@reddthat.com, and one on .ml. He (or she) posted it here, not me. I didn't even know about this community and I could have posted it myself.

I don't know what your example means tho. Someone acknowledged my comic and I gave a heart in appreciation. I didn't ask anyone to crosspost here, and in fact I have reached out to the mod here, @TotallynotJessica@lemmy.blahaj.zone just now to not allow the user to copy any more of my stuff here and to remove what's here.
He didn't even copy it from the comics com I mod, he copied it from .ml. I don't have anything to do with him. So I hearted a post and now you think I am him? I'm still not getting it. but anyway, the mod of this comm will take care of it.
because the posts in reddthat, ml, and blahaj all link to the same file, piefed displays the comments from all three comms on the same page. you show as OP on comments from the other posts

It does indeed fry brains, and in fact, the average citizen can't think for themselves. All jokes aside, you and I agree on that. It's a poison, and one we probably won't be able to get rid of.

The account you're arguing with runs a disinfo community where he posts fake articles with no disclaimers, and then engages seriously in the comments with the people he dupes as if the articles were real, and never mentions that they are indeed fake.
Until someone calls him out on it, and then he gets all self-righteous and compares himself to the onion, and acts like the people calling out his bullshit are defending the people and organisations he's spreading disinfo about.
Like, someone can hate walmart and still be against disinfo. There's plenty of legitimate criticisms to make; making up bullshit and spreading disinfo is not the way.
I wouldn't take him seriously. I'd even say he likely doesn't have any affiliation with Ralph Nader. Maybe he's secretly trying to make Ralph Nader look bad by being a dick on the internet in his name...
