in brief, this community is the awful.systems answer to Hacker News. read this article for a solid summary of why having a less toxic collaborative community is important from a technical standpoint in addition to a social one.

MODERATORS
My immediate correlation is
cargo deny, which is a tool for Rust devs to assert some control over the dependency supply chain.So maybe "Supply denAI list"?
As for "concerned moderates", a useful thing to maybe convince people who are on the fence but are not dipshits that this is a real issue would be to make the supply chain framing clear – relying on slopware is bad not only for the obvious ethical reasons, but also do you really want to depend on a lib that accepts slop PRs? Really???
