The reason why a pharmacists would care is more the fact that once the resistant bacteria gets out of your body and into the world it reduces the effectiveness of antibiotics for every human.

The push to get people to finish their courses of antibiotics is done to keep antibiotics effective for everyone.

As far as I'm concerned, "threatening" to use your own body in an attempt to raise antibiotic resistant bacteria, is self harm.

You don't have to agree. That's fine.
