It is child abuse. You only do it because it's always been done before. That's what cultural means. You have No reason, other than, we've always done it, so we can never rethink it. That's what you're saying. Never question the reason. Don't think about if it's right or wrong, it's "cultural" therefore we just do it blindly without questioning.
