Rules:
- Follow the rules of Sopuli
- Posts must be related to Steam Hardware or Steam OS in an obvious way.
- No piracy, there are other communities for that.
- Discussion of emulators are allowed, but no discussion on how to illegally acquire ROMs.
- This is a place of civil discussion, no trolling.
- Have fun.
Hmmm could you download to desktop pc and set up a Syncthing share to your Steam Deck? Synthing will sync directly over a local network when possible so it shouldn't be too slow.
Well downloading on my desktop PC gives me the same slow speeds so it doesn’t help.
Especially because weirdly, turning off the computer meant starting at 0% again.
While all of thos could be true, downloading on your PC should be possible to queue multiple games, and doesn't require you to leave your steam deck turned on. Go for that nostalgic overnight download vibe.
That’s what I’ve done for now, but I’d prefer avoiding the days of emule downloads where you needed 2 days to get an illegal copy of a 30 MB mzsic album😅
