Hot take, people who hunt and garden are far more ethical eaters than vegans who are bound to industrial food systems.

I don't know, a lot of vegans also garden and also, are vastly more aware of the industrial food systems and purposefully avoid unethical food sources.

It would be fair to say, more ethical than some vegans, some that are 'low effort' that just look out for vegan food and sometimes eat nothing but processed foods. But if you follow vegan influencers, many of them are so knowledgeable of the food systems that they buy from that implying they are unethical is just plainly wrong.
