It's not an amazing meme and I'm not sure I agree with it, but in my understanding it is trying to say that we, Lemmy users, are experienced and not naive unlike Reddit users.

You are probably right though

I think it just means, likely that the lemmy users have "seen some shit" that eventually caused them to join Lemmy instead of the horde of reddit users.
