I second that sentiment. It's imposing and impressive. Something similar to the grand canyon, tbf, which may sound dumb, but specifically I'm referring to the quiet that seemingly falls over you as you just marvel. Truly truly remarkable in size and scope and all the time you're thinking, fuck, how old is this thing? I'm certain the pyramids must induce similar awestruck sensations.

Haha! I told my partner the same thing! I felt this way about the Grand Canyon and also the coliseum in Rome.

You see pictures of these things all throughout life, but there just isn’t anything like having the opportunity to see them irl. It’s very profound.

I’m expecting the pyramids will leave the same impression when I get a chance to go!
