I hope to live to see these people explaining themselves in court. Or, failing that, in front of a goddamned tribunal.
most Nazis never had to face any consequences for their actions. With Europe in shambles and Stalin at the doorstep, there wasn't a lot of time or energy for long, drawn-out trials. Plus, a lot of those Nazis were Germany's best and brightest. And Germany had to be cared for, or else her regular people would run back into the arms of Nazism again. It was better for everyone to just prosecute the main dudes and then move on with rebuilding.
I see no reason to alter my aspirations.
