How do you think elections work?
If the majority of people don't vote, they don't cancel the Presidency.
You don't worry about the ideal ship when you're drowning.
They're talking about primaries, not the general election. In primaries you focus on finding the best candidate. In the general election you vote for the least fascist major alternative, but that's later.
If you say they are talking about the primaries, I'll believe you.
You should tell them to edit their comment, because they never mentioned 'primaries.'
The next election involving a presidential candidate is a primary.
Did you interpret the OP as depicting an election where the two choices are AOC and Newsom?? Who is running as the Republican?
No, I was talking about the people who couldn't bring themselves to vote for Clinton or Harris.
Back in the day, a lot of people told themselves that there was no difference between Humphrey and Nixon. They were wrong.
Look at the reality of the situation.
The 2028 Dem candidate will probably be close to Jimmy Carter or Bill Clinton's policies.
