When people talk about propaganda I like to point out friends, because it's perfect as an example. Not only do it lead people to believe there's hardly any black people in New York, but because everyone watched it and it presented itself as a comedy, it was considered fun. But it weren't.

Disclaimer, I know people that would die on the hill of Friends being hilarious.

Yeah, whether friends is funny or not (I found many episodes to be funny personally like the one with the moist maker or the one where Rachel makes the weird dessert, and many more episodes to be not funny) and whether it represents demographics correctly or not (it certainly does not), the point that Jennifer Aniston makes is very real.

Voting for weird fringe candidates is how republicans split the vote and how we end up with people who aren't even representatives in the real sense.

None of this is propoganda, except for people urging others to vote for non-mainstream candidates to split the vote. Friends is quite infamous for having a whitewashed cast. Aside from that you might not find it funny but obviously if people were not interested in watching it, so many people wouldn't have watched it 🤷🏾‍♂️

As an outside observer, I see your point, but I also see how you've come to the point.
The uncomfortable truth is that your government needs to be burnt to the ground. It's truly irredeemable at this point.

Not my government. I'm an outside observer as well :) Sadly governments in these parts of the world employ similar strategies.
