You can if you literally signed a contract with him that said he wouldn’t do that

I feel like once they fired him, the contract should be voided since they no longer have anything to do with each other.

I thought the article said his services would still remain exclusive to Fox until 2024 as part of the termination.

Yes that does seem to be the case, legally speaking. I'm just saying it's odd and really shouldn't be lol. if you fire someone why tf do they have any connection to you after that?

I think it’s part of the deal they signed. While he was fired I’m pretty sure he was compensated more than fairly for that exclusivity and for agreeing to not get litigious. Either way there is absolutely no reason to feel sorry for Tucker.
