Leaders of Young Republican groups throughout the country worried what would happen if their Telegram chat ever got leaked, but they kept typing anyway.

This is how Republicans talk all across America. This is what you've heard if you have MAGA relatives. And they're either unrepentant or they say it's just a joke. 10 years ago this would have seemed topical to me. 20 years ago I'd have thought it scandalous. Right now I'm just curious why such unserious people thought they could maintain a private chat.
