The article explains that vibe code often is close, but not quite, functional, requiring developers to go in and find where the problems are - resulting in a net slowdown of development rather than productivity gains.

Imagine if we did "vibe city infrastructure". Just throw up a fucking suspension bridge and we'll hire some temps to come in later to find the bad welds and missing cables.
