I don’t think that any effective pushback could have been conducted in this setting, outside of a bunch of them coordinating to have a series of fireteams wipe out orangeboi and Hesgeth, thus conducting a coup. And I actually think that would have been a good thing, considering what I’m pretty sure those imbecilic fucks are going to try to reshape the military into.

Also, I think a big part of this stupidity is due to orangeboi being Big Mad that the grunts he shanghaied for that stupid fucking parade in DC were 10/10 maliciously complying. Ask anyone who has served, in any military - if the people marching give even the slightest shit, someone will call up a cadence to help the squad march. Nobody did that at the parade. Nobody in the parade gave a shit. They were following their orders to a T, and doing absolutely nothing more.
