MODERATORS
There was no need to get confrontational.
If you are itchy, shower, no one forbade you. Just, it's not needed by the vast majority of people. It is but a social norm.
It is also detrimental to shower everyday with soaps.
It's a shame how saying "Ask your doctor before taking health advice you find online" is considered controversial now.
That might be necessary if you have sensitive skin but I'd never dream of asking my doctor for permission to try out showering less than once a day
