I'm an amateur programmer at best, and the height of my programming "career" was when my friend told me their IT was using my tool internally. It has a few hundred stars on GitHub now, so not too bad. Sad thing is that I have other projects that I actually am passionate about, but they don't get much love.

I can say that it's not a very complex project, and I think that simplicity is probably why people like it.
