Anyone else have their special notebook with secret ciphers?
Yes, but it's a file on my computer and there is no cypher. I know it's bad security but information gets stolen from the server side or cloud side and not from my local desktop.
I use an Excel doc with a cell for the link, a cell for the username, and a cell for the password. At least I hide the password column when it's not in use though. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
That is just for my work computer. Like other have stated, at home I use a password manager and just remember the main one.
Yeah, my company says it's a bad practice to use chrome password manager, but doesn't give me a license to a better alternative. 🤷
I used to have a spreadsheet that I used as a password management type thing where all I had to do was remember the codeword and then I could use the spreadsheet to convert the stored 'password' into the real one. But then I just started using a password manager because same principle but less effort :p
I like writing them on tiny notes that I hide, makes me feel cool.
