I was under the impression this was still a VC-driven bubble. The product is being sold below cost in most cases, so exactly how much below cost is sort of moot.
It's being sold below cost in ALL cases. OpenAI literally has not posted profits, ever, if you discount the investor cash that gets hucked at them when they go begging for it every two or three months. They even admit they haven't made a single cent on any of their subscription services.
