That’s because they made it difficult to be able to watch. I’ve had to wait for seasons to be released on “free” streaming services. Watching R&M on current season is expensive if you don’t sail the seas.

Even for sailors, I think it was during/after season 6 that everybody I know just stopped, and that's the ones who bothered.

Adult swim app is streaming it for free. Some episodes are locked and then open up a week later however.
