I first heared about CoMaps last week and instantly switched from OrganicMaps :) My question is: How often will CoMaps update the map data from OSM?

Organic Maps still hasn't updated the map of Helsinki to include the two very important new bicycle patgs opened 1½ months ago, although a new OM version came out a few weeks after the routes had opened and immediately updated on Openstreetmap. I ended up finding about Comaps because of that, and on Comaps the new routes are shown correctly.
