What happened with mtg?
the hype of final fantasy based mtg cards. at first it was LOTR, then one of the scifi genre, now FF, i think spiderman is next.

Typical corporate greed things, probably...Dialing the product release schedule up to 11, gradually losing their brand identity in the pursuit of becoming the Fortnite of card games, sending the fucking Pinkertons after someone.
It has always been gambling for children.
children usually arnt playing MTG, it maybe a target, but the game is too complex for them.
Hasbro bought it out and turned it into a mass marketing money machine
do they even make MTG centric lore anymore. last i heard its mostly other IPs.
