Women only trans inclusive This is an inclusive community for all things women. Whether you're here for make up tips, feminism or just friendly chit chat, we've got you covered.
Rules…
- Women only… trans women are women, and transphobic or gender critical talk isn’t allowed. Anyone under the trans umbrella (e.g. non-binary, bigender, agender) is free to decide whether a women's community is a good fit for them.
- Don’t be a dick. No personal attacks, no aggression, play nice.
- Don’t hate on groups, hatefilled talk about groups is not allowed. Ever.
- No governmental politics, so no talk of Trump actions etc. We recommend Feminism@beehaw.org for that, but here is an escape from it.
- New accounts or users with few comments may have their posts removed to prevent spam and bad-faith participation.

It's not a disability, but I'm short. I've never felt embarrassed to ask someone tall walking by if they can grab something off the top shelf at a grocery store (for example).
It should absolutely be the same way with any accomodations needed for any disability.
Keep doing it! Most of us tall people enjoy the opportunity to be helpful 😁
Tall and strong here, some of my friends have felt awkward about asking for help, but I've always loved being able to lend a hand!
As a tall person, seriously, its no problem when people ask.
Though for some reason apparently it's a massive inconvenience ro speak louder according to hearing people
They oughta have the grabber things in every aisle of the store but they don't because children fucking steal them to play with!
Stores should just hire enough employees that it doesn’t take twenty minutes of wandering aimlessly to find help.
Sure but they also hire short people. So having the grabbers around helps. My identical twin, all 4'11" works in grocery. So you can find them...and still need the grabbers! Or hope they can find yet another employee that's taller.
