I understand all of this and my previous comment was far too vague. I guess I thought you'd infer what I meant but I can see now that was a long shot.
What I was trying to get across is that there has been a tug-o-war between oligarchy and democracy for almost two decades in the USA. So, when Trump either dies (he has a 33% chance of doing so while in office) or leaves office the pull toward democracy will ensue.
A lot of back and forth happening right now in our 'flawed democracy'.
I have hope in the overwhelming will of the people. All is, certainly, not lost.
