I'll never understand why anyone would ever use their real name as a username. Why would you intentionally dox yourself?
For email? Business.

Edit: Also, using Gmail as your businesses email address is extremely unprofessional. You should be using your own domain. You can always forward it to Gmail.

When we get resumes, applicants that don’t have some variation of firstname.lastname@… as their email tend to go on the bottom of the pile.

Previously you claimed that using the Gmail domain is "extremely unprofessional". However, a company that considers email addresses with real names to be more professional is "petty". 🤔
There's a lot of people here who have no idea how little the general public cares about technology.
Not everyone has the knowledge/interest/money to buy a domain and set it up with their email, let alone switch their logins to a new email.
