Donald Trump ordered ICE officers to prioritize deportations in Democrat-run cities in a wild Truth Social rant Sunday night.

Trump issued the unprecedented, politically motivated orders just hours after millions of protesters gathered in major American cities, calling for Trump’s megalomania to be curbed.

Trump told ICE staff to “do all in their power” to detain and deport undocumented immigrants in Los Angeles, Chicago, and New York.

Protests in these cities—and many more Democrat-controlled districts—attracted millions of citizens on Saturday, dwarfing the crowd that attended Trump’s birthday parade in Washington, D.C.

Indians. Mark my words. The nativist/racist MAGAts HATE Indians! If only the Indian Trump voters realized this. JD Vance doenst have full respect of MAGA because of his wife Usha, who he does still care about on some level.

Legal immigrants are already getting deported and detained so that seems look like the much more likely group died next

How do they not see the inherent hypocrisy in being anti-immigrant but thinking white people have more of a right to be in America than natives

East Indians, not First Nations.

~~East~~ Indians, not First Nations.

[-] Knoxvomica@lemmy.ca 3 points 1 year ago

Absolutely correct, the fact of the matter was OP was confused about native Americans being called Indians and therefore I made the distinction.

Sorry, I got a little butt-hurt, being Indian myself. I always hated the "East/West" prefix about my people and the First Nation folks.

"They're not Indians! They're a completely different group of people! They and we don't need a cardinal direction!"

I've been spouting this shit since grade-school, but I think it's safe to say that people here on Lemmy get it, for the most part.

Totally get it, that is absolutely frustrating as hell!

Indians, Chinese, or Muslims is my guess.
