Hello fellow Cyanide and Happiness fans!
Cyanide & Happiness (C&H) is a webcomic created by Rob DenBleyker, Kris Wilson, Dave McElfatrick and Matt Melvin. The comic has been running since 2005 and is published on the website explosm.net along with animated shorts in the same style. Matt Melvin left C&H in 2014, and several other people have contributed to the comic and to the animated shorts

About this community and how I post the comics… Many moons ago, I would ask my Dad to save the newspaper for me everyday so I could read my favorite comic strips. Of course these days you can read your favorite comics online instead of a newspaper, but I love the nostalgia of reading the daily comics. Anyway, one of my favorite current comics is Cyanide and Happiness and I will be posting the daily release from their website (https://explosm.net/) and a an extra or two randoms.

Would agree with you there, went (was dragged to) a vegan restaurant and by far the best item on the menu was the chips.
Why did they have to serve macaroni and fake cheese, couldn't they have just made a nice sauce with tomato, onion, garlic and herbs?
oh absolutely - 100%. I was just trying to point out that there's no reason to eat bacon if there's vegan bacon
I disagree on that. I'm yet to try a vegan meat that's not disgusting. I'll rather have a proper bean patty with vegetables than vegan beef with vegan bacon.
Of course taste is subjective.
I'm the same :) I have a pretty awesome recipe I use for bean burger patties that are very cheap and very delicious. my SO loves them too
I guess there just isn't really a way to replace something like salami or bacon in a self-made vegan way, same goes for cheese (slices) unless you're into preparing vegan mozzarella or something by yourself, so I'm fine getting those. Vegan minced meat is also something I buy for bolognese, lasagna, or chilli - you can substitute it with tofu too, which I do sometimes, but it's just less of a hassle and doesn't cost too much at Lidl.
Recipe for the bean patty? I've never mastered, maybe I'll give another try.
