If they identify as a man they should be using the men's restroom.

Uh... That's exactly what he tried to do first. Apparently they didn't have a single stall in the Men's Room, so he had to use the Women's instead.

After a lengthy drive to the bar, Strobel said he stepped inside to use the men’s room. However, there were no stalls—only urinals, rendering it inaccessible to him as a trans man.
