Look at the big dude over here able to afford current day VR systems
Cv1 was significantly more expensive than a Quest 2. Like, double the price. Even Quest 3 is cheaper, assuming you want the best version of Quest 3.
A rift cv1 nowadays would be a pretty bad deal even if you got it for free.
Could you imagine someone getting a 10 year old cellphone?
What about someone getting a 10 year old cellphone 10 years ago, like, the first smartphone, when everyone else was using an iphone 8 or galaxy s8.
That is the era VR was in 10 years ago. CV1 was fine back then. But it is caveman VR now.
Then would you mind giving me a quest 2 to get me out of caveman status???
Already gave it away to my neices.
I wasn't serious but those things cost 160 eur (used) that's not something I can justify spending.
"Step up your VR Experience today" is a call to action to do something today. (edit: which is to put googly eyes on your VR headset)
The model of headset is irrelevant
Which to my knowledge still works and you can play all the newest PCVR games on it
