How is nobody talking about the fact that The Simpsons Arcade Game got home ports to DOS and Commodore 64 but not NES, SNES or Genesis -- and didn't arrive on console until Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3? (lemmy.world)

I wonder if it was a rights issue. Konami made the arcade game while all of the Simpsons games on the NES/SNES/Genesis/Game Boy/Game Gear were published by Acclaim.
