It is when you don't even bother attempting to respond, is when you're free. You are the co-author of your own narrative, with the only other author being whatever you view God as.

I don't view 'god' as anything because gods don't exist.
An acceptable view, as are all others.
Higher self then.
There is no evidence or need for a higher self. I am me and I will exist until I die and there is no need for anything beyond the immense universe we live in to give purpose or meaning to existence.
I really wish age appropriate psych classes were part of classical liberal arts education beginning in primary school were taught alongside STEM.

Superego = higher self. Afaik, this part of ~~Fred's~~ Freud's pioneering work is still generally accepted as fact.
Eta and if it helps people be better people without hurting anyone, until we develop and keep better societal systems no need to pee on whatever coping mechanisms people are using. Some people use substances, some use God.
Pretty telling that you see me expressing disagreement with someone else's beliefs and explaining my viewpoint is 'peeing' on theirs. It isn't like I told someone that 'anyone with intelligence' would have a different view like I got for simply stating that gods don't exist.

Atheism is such bullshit. Anybody with some intellect would at least consider themselves agnostic.
