I only participated in 2 or 3 Splatfests in Splatoon 2 tbh, I got Splatoon 2 relatively late, and I don't really know a lot about 1 or 2 Splatfests, especially due to some being regional

Splatfests were confusing with how different each region was. I remember getting confused with it sometimes too in the early days.

@splatoon@wetdry.world @splatoon@lemmy.world oh yea! Super late into the game. I honestly only played like maybe half Splatfests then. I really wasn’t very good at the game. Hahah. Still pretty average tbh.
I did play in the Mario one though. Even got the Team Star tee from the Nintendo store 🤩🤩
That's why I found it sound familiar, I never play Splatoon 2 but I heard a lot of people talked about the splatfest from S2 online.
