She signed every contract, got an addendum to one she disagreed with. She owns the rights to all of her music. Knew out right that travel was not covered. Was paid her SAG rate once she was accepted into the show. And is upset at Fielder for "tricking" her even though she told every contestant it was fake during taping.

If she feels like she wasn't properly compensated or treated, she needs to be upset with her manager and the studio execs. Nathan Fielder is lampooning the industry, not it's actors and crew. She's not the butt of the joke, the studio is. She's just part of the vehicle in which the joke is told.

The article paints a different picture than the headline. She doesn't regret doing the show and isn't holding a grudge. She's mad that they used kids for the show, giving them false hope, which is one of the larger points of the show.

She was fraudulently induced to make an investment.

The Voice, AGT, and other singing contests make people's careers. The exposure that she can get from being on a real singing contest is worth the airfare, even if she doesn't win. However, because the production company lied to her about the purpose of the taping, she spent that money for nothing.

She flew to L.A. three times on her own dime. It's one thing to waste people time but this goes a bit beyond that imo. Im a big fan of Nathan but ya, this is a bit rough.

She signed up to be part of a singing contest. She sang, in the contest. Reading the article, there didn't seem to be any issues until she found out that her segment wasn't going to be in the final production 🤔🧐🤔.

~~She also should've figured out travel reimbursement BEFORE paying for travel. You have to figure that stuff out or else accounting WILL take the chance to suddenly change their mind about the rental car they originally provided. This is just one of the unfortunate realities of our current human civilization. You have to confirm first, or you'll be screwed later.~~

It's hard to get mad at Nathan.

It feels like if she had a legal leg to stand on she wouldn't need to rush to the media for sympathy.

How is it hard to get mad at Fielder? I don't see how this isn't a huge dick move.

All of these shows where you recruit people under false pretenses about what kind of show they're going to be on are extremely gross, and have been since the invention of reality TV.
