They don't dominate like they used to, but we still have vintage streetcars on Market and the Embarcadero

I was so excited to see those when I was in the area last year! Unfortunately wasn't able to ride one ๐Ÿ˜ž but I did get some pictures. We need more streetcars

I'm really bummed I missed this event


a streetcar has a period appropriate jazz group for a free show. And they didn't charge fares either.

Turns out you can also rent the streetcars for events, which is pretty neat


would make for a fun night on the town.

Also the main part of market st (including what's shown in the photo) is no longer for "civilian" cars - only buses, taxis, emergency, delivery vehicles (AFAIK)

So we're working our way back around to the picture, albeit slowly
