Cars has being a big industry in western countries for years. The decline of the automotive might be the good chance to get rid of them.

Or have small selfdriving electrical vehicles on demand only. Why don't we have that? Anyone can build a super secure vehicle that plods along in the city at 20-30 kmh max.
